Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI agents that manage complex customer interactions and drive customer retention.
  • Own AI agent implementations end to end, from initial development through continuous iteration and scalable deployment.
  • Identify trends across customers to guide the evolution of Decagon’s agent-building platform and research efforts.
  • Experiment with and evaluate current text and voice models, then integrate them at scale for enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate directly with customer leaders across finance, healthcare, hospitality, and other industries.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of industry experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
  • Comfort investigating system failures across deep technology stacks using whatever tools are necessary.
  • Prior experience working with multimodal models is preferred.
