Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own full-stack features across patient, clinician, and operational products.
- Partner with product, design, marketing, clinical, and operations stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into shipped software.
- Write scalable, maintainable code while balancing speed and long-term durability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and improve code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Review code, participate in technical discussions, and help teammates develop.
- Use AI coding tools daily and help the team improve its engineering workflows.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications at production scale.
- Strong hands-on coding skills with a modern web stack; Midi uses Django/DRF and React/Next.js, though equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Seasoned system design ability, including translating ambiguous product problems into pragmatic architectures.
- Comfort using AI coding tools and adopting team workflows around them.
- Ability to mentor peers through code review and pairing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective collaboration with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Proactive ownership of automated testing, CI, and high code quality.
- Healthcare, EHR integration, regulated-domain, or consumer-facing startup experience is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
