Base Salary
$158k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver large software projects and new product capabilities while maintaining key code repositories.
- Modernize pipelines and systems to scale referral products with company growth.
- Break down complex technical problems, identify root causes, and resolve production incidents.
- Roadmap and execute technical strategies while balancing short-term and long-term trade-offs.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and real-time pairing.
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
- Improve feature maintainability, availability, and performance, and contribute to architecture and developer tooling.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and document solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of non-internship, full-time professional software development experience.
- Experience delivering large software projects or production features.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong backend API and service ownership with the ability to work confidently on React and React Native frontend surfaces.
- Ability to own projects end-to-end, make sound technical trade-offs, and execute with minimal direction.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude or Claude Code and agentic AI workflows in daily development.
- Preferred experience includes growth teams, incentives or rewards, social mechanics, personalization at scale, A/B testing, model serving, experimentation platforms, ML feature stores, or health and regulated-data environments.
