Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, integrate, deploy, evaluate, and test AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Design and implement LLM-based applications, including chat interfaces, document question-answering systems, workflow automation, summarization tools, and decision-support systems.
- Develop retrieval-augmented generation architectures involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, metadata filtering, reranking, and response evaluation.
- Build agentic workflows, tool-calling and function-calling systems, MCP integrations, and cloud-native AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in all phases of the software engineering lifecycle and transition capabilities to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or PhD is also listed as an option.
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in applied machine learning, data science, software engineering, or AI/ML system development, with 4+ or 6+ years also listed as alternatives.
- Experience designing, developing, or deploying machine learning, Generative AI, or data-driven software solutions.
- Proficiency with Python and common AI/ML or data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and responsible AI.
- Experience using cloud services to build, deploy, or manage AI/ML solutions.
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, performance metrics, and model deployment practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Secret Clearance is required.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Bedrock, Model Context Protocol, agentic AI workflows, RAG evaluation, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket experience, plus publications, presentations, technical reports, demos, or client briefings.
