Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, deploy, integrate, evaluate, and test AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities.
- Design and implement LLM-based applications, including chat interfaces, document question-answering systems, workflow automation, summarization tools, and AI-enabled decision-support systems.
- Develop machine learning solutions involving data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, performance metrics, and deployment.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation architectures, agentic workflows, and cloud-native AI solutions that meet client operational requirements.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6, 4, or 2 years of work-related experience with applied machine learning, data science, software engineering, or AI/ML system development, as applicable.
- Experience designing, developing, or deploying machine learning, Generative AI, or data-driven software solutions.
- Experience with Python and AI/ML or data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and responsible AI.
- Experience using cloud services to build, deploy, or manage AI/ML solutions.
- Secret Clearance required.
- Preferred experience includes AWS Bedrock, Model Context Protocol servers, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, LLM/RAG evaluation, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Preferred qualifications include academic publications, conference presentations, technical reports, demonstrations, or client-facing briefings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
