Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and scalable test frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and execute manual test cases for scenarios not covered by automation.
- Conduct backend, API, integration, regression, and related software quality testing.
- Log, track, prioritize, and document defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to testing estimates, planning, scope definition, and quality strategy.
- Manage the complete testing lifecycle and maintain quality standards across the Engineering Squad.
- Present test results and product-readiness insights to stakeholders in Show & Tell sessions.
- Lead QA activity planning, prioritization, skill development, and quality initiatives in collaboration with the Project Owner and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in QA team management, work prioritization, and allocation of QA activities.
- Extensive Java experience for test automation using frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Expertise writing integration tests for REST services with RestAssured.
- Knowledge of mocking tools such as WireMock and experience working with Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD environments, GitLab pipelines, Docker, Git, and merge request processes.
- Knowledge of test case management and reporting systems such as Jira and Xray.
- Strong understanding of test automation strategies, software quality principles, Agile methodologies, and continuous testing.
- Significant experience collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
- Ability to define a quality vision, establish testing strategy, and drive quality initiatives across the project lifecycle.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience with Pact, Gatling, Lighthouse, JMeter, Allure Report, and DataDog.
