Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, optimize, and integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and execute manual, backend, API, integration, regression, contract, and performance tests.
- Log, prioritize, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Estimate testing scope, complexity, and effort and manage testing activities across the full lifecycle.
- Define quality vision and testing strategy and drive quality initiatives across the project lifecycle.
- Present test results and product-readiness insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps teams, and Project Owners.
- Improve testing processes, frameworks, coverage, and team automation skills.
Requirements
- Significant experience with Java test automation using frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
- Expertise writing integration tests for REST services with RestAssured.
- Knowledge of mocking tools such as WireMock and experience with Kafka.
- Experience in CI/CD environments using GitLab pipelines and Docker.
- Experience with Git and Merge Request workflows.
- Knowledge of test case management, reporting, and metrics tools such as Jira and Xray.
- Strong understanding of test automation strategies, scalable test frameworks, software quality principles, Agile methodologies, and continuous testing.
- Demonstrated QA leadership, work prioritization, quality strategy definition, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with Pact, Gatling, Lighthouse, JMeter, Allure Report, or DataDog is preferred.
