Base Salary
$226k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design cross-data-center distributed, fault-tolerant, highly available, and performant web services and web applications.
- Research, analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions.
- Drive architecture discussions, create design documentation, and participate in design and code reviews.
- Develop automated tests and improve code quality, maintainability, architecture, technology stacks, build systems, and test systems.
- Own major software projects and features from design through production deployment and support.
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, roll out system changes, and mitigate technical risks.
- Coach and mentor other team members.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus seven years of relevant experience.
- At least two years of experience with Java, Spring, architecture and design, XML and JSON, REST API, large-scale applications and multithreading, object-oriented design and data structures, and system design.
- At least one year of experience with HTML.
- At least two years of leadership skills and end-to-end ownership of features.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
