Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams while driving technical decisions, technology selection, and implementation approaches.
- Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform and develop BigQuery solutions for analytics and data processing.
- Develop and maintain Python backend applications and REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Design and implement Generative AI applications, integrate OpenAI APIs and other LLMs, and develop AI-driven workflows and automation.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
- Implement cloud security, monitoring, access management, deployment, authentication, logging, testing, and API documentation practices.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through production support, including release management and technical risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Mandatory spoken and written Swedish proficiency.
- 5-10 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs with FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI APIs and designing and implementing Generative AI solutions.
- Experience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud security and IAM, CI/CD and DevOps practices, automated testing, data analytics, data platform integrations, monitoring and observability tools, database design and optimization, code reviews, engineering best practices, and technical roadmaps is preferred.
- GCP or AI/Generative AI certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in hybrid and distributed teams is preferred.
