Responsibilities
- Review requirements and provide risk-focused feedback.
- Design and evolve scalable automation frameworks in Java.
- Build the datalakes team's automation suite from the ground up.
- Write high-signal test strategies for complex features.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines with robust validation layers.
- Build internal tools to enhance engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promote quality ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the software industry with a focus on quality and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.
- Understanding of distributed systems risks and data inconsistencies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of database testing and ETL validation is a plus.
