Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, and Ruby.
- Architect and develop scalable APIs and microservices deployed on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Own complex features from design through production and ongoing operation.
- Drive architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product, UX, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver secure, privacy-compliant experiences.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Contribute to identity, authentication, SDK, API, and cryptographic systems.
- Scale third-party integrations and implement improvements to engineering practices, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript plus at least one of Python, Kotlin, or Ruby.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and scalable architectures.
- Experience building and operating APIs and microservices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability trade-offs.
- Deep knowledge of software security principles and privacy-by-design approaches.
- Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect; experience with Spring Boot or Ruby on Rails; understanding of privacy regulations; and experience building secure SDKs or developer platforms.
