Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Create solutions that address regulatory needs for the company.
- Mentor engineering community members and stay current with technology trends.
- Code or evaluate code as needed.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, Scala, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years with Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js, 3+ years with a cloud service, 4+ years with open-source frameworks, 1+ year of people management, 2+ years of Agile practices, and experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
