Base Salary

$104k - $172k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance applications and platform capabilities for the Master Data Management platform.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain high-quality software using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to define requirements and technical solutions.
  • Write unit, integration, interface, functional, and end-user tests and resolve issues identified by quality assurance or product support.
  • Apply emerging technologies, contribute to innovation, identify opportunities for improvement, and coach other team members.
  • Work on complex technical problems requiring in-depth analysis of business situations and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or experience in a related field.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development.
  • Applied experience with MDM tools, preferably Ataccama or another major MDM platform.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, distributed systems, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software design methodology.
  • Experience with NoSQL or relational data structures and data streaming technologies such as SQS and Kinesis.
  • Experience consuming and developing APIs and using SOA patterns and web service technologies including REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, and MySQL.
  • Understanding of unit, interface, end-user, functional, non-functional, and automated testing concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Bash, shell commands, GitHub, Bitbucket or Subversion, Jenkins, DevOps practices, SDLC, monitoring, and logging.
  • Experience with AWS services, including CloudWatch and CodeDeploy; AWS development architecture patterns are preferred.
  • Financial or insurance industry knowledge is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $104,000 to $171,600 and yearly bonus potential.
