
Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid - Edgewood, NY)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement scalable software solutions using Java and related technologies.
- Analyze business and system requirements to create effective technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Debug, review, and maintain existing systems for performance, stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, quality assurance professionals, and other cross-functional teams.
- Apply code quality, version control, and continuous integration practices.
- Optionally use AWS for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Share technical knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Experience with Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Oracle.
- Understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, Spring or Hibernate, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in an Agile software development lifecycle environment.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
