Responsibilities

Transform existing architecture into optimized, secure, scalable, performant, reliable, and resilient public cloud architecture focused on Azure.
Design, implement, maintain, and continuously automate a large cloud-based computing environment.
Engage with Pre-Sales, Sales, and SAS Cloud support teams to understand customer requirements.
Provide engineering support for hosting environments, customer escalations, and on-call support.
Work with Compliance on audit evidence, CIS benchmarks, and other requirements for regulated hosting environments.
Use Azure APIs to automate and integrate standard supported services.
Assess complex technical and business requirements and take ownership of projects with minimal guidance.
Create automation to reduce technical debt and improve day-to-day operations.
Provide technical guidance to team members and serve as a technical liaison between internal departments when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience designing enterprise solutions or services.
At least 2 years of experience with an industry-leading public cloud provider or equivalent certification.
At least 2 years of experience in systems support and consulting.
At least 2 years of experience with Linux.
At least 1 year of experience deploying and managing Kubernetes.
In-depth knowledge of servers or compute, networking, storage, and other major information technology areas.
Experience deploying and managing containerized services.
Development experience in a major scripting or compiled programming language.
Experience using source control solutions such as GitHub or GitLab.
Preferred qualifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert or other Azure certifications, large-scale enterprise systems, REST API automation, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, LDAP, ADFS, SAML, identity and access management, on-premises hypervisors, and WAN technologies.
