Responsibilities
- Advocate for product quality and serve as the team’s resource for testing guidance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software quality assurance best practices.
- Collaborate with the geographically distributed Quality Assurance team to support timely project delivery.
- Drive manual test execution with the QC team.
- Develop and maintain automation tests for user interface flows, REST APIs, and Spark Engine functionality.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks and tools supporting test automation.
- Troubleshoot complex product issues and help development teams reproduce them.
- Define and implement measurable application quality standards covering performance, availability, user experience, and functionality.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of equivalent experience as an SDET or strong Automation Engineer with automation tools exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience creating automation frameworks and tools for test automation.
- Experience with programming, testing, API automation, database work, and basic SQL.
- Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design, and test execution, including JIRA.
- Exposure to Test Driven Development.
- Strong communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to recognize risks, think abstractly, and address ambiguous or undefined problems.
- Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
