Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Define cloud architecture, migration strategies, technical roadmaps, and security protocols with stakeholders
- Architect cloud-native solutions and Kubernetes environments using self-hosted clusters and managed services including AKS, EKS, and GKE
- Provide guidance on cloud security, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, microservices, containers, and Infrastructure as Code
- Lead IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud migration assessment, planning, and execution
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, ARM and Bicep templates, and PowerShell
- Design high-availability, disaster-recovery, incident-response, and cybersecurity solutions
- Mentor cloud engineering teams and integrate cloud services into application lifecycles
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and guidance for customers and stakeholders
- Promote proactive problem solving, accountability, and continuous improvement through Agile/Scrum methodologies
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance, with willingness to accept an interim Top Secret or Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture with hands-on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud experience
- Experience designing and implementing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud solutions
- Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, JSON, YAML, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks, network architectures, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, Azure AD, and OAuth
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Experience in customer-facing roles and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
- Ability to work onsite daily
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Technical certifications such as Google Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred
- Experience with DevSecOps, microservices, cloud-native development, cloud cost optimization, monitoring, performance tuning, and federal or government environments is preferred
