Base Salary
$135k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, solution design sessions, and proofs of concept.
- Understand customer business objectives, technology stacks, project requirements, and technical or business risks.
- Create customized, value-based product demonstrations and proofs of concept showing how Contentful supports digital transformation.
- Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires while coordinating with internal departments.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to support successful customer implementation and launch.
- Relay customer and product feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.
- Travel onsite with customers when necessary and contribute to internal projects that improve the Solution Engineering function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience selling SaaS or related solutions to marketing and marketing-adjacent teams.
- Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to mixed audiences of business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with a Content Management Platform or similar technology is preferred.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, CDNs, CI/CD, cloud technology, performance metrics, and security is preferred.
- Experience with omnichannel digital delivery across websites, email, and native mobile applications is preferred.
