Base Salary

$135k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with account executives, product specialists, partners, and professional services teams to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery through close.
  • Engage higher education, non-traditional, and K-12 institutions to understand their challenges and map them to Salesforce solutions.
  • Prepare, build, and present tailored Salesforce demonstrations aligned with institutional strategic and technical goals.
  • Translate education business processes into technology solutions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Support account QBRs, health checks, technical workshops, product adoption, consumption, and activation efforts.
  • Define and document customer use cases, estimate credit consumption, and build consumption plans for AI and data products.
  • Develop and present Agentforce and Data 360 Cloud use cases, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical deep dives.
  • Maintain expertise in education-sector challenges, CRM technology trends, Salesforce products, and AI and data use cases.
  • Meet customer engagement, solution development, adoption, and revenue contribution objectives.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.
  • 7+ years of combined experience working with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, focused on education.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
  • Artificial intelligence and/or data certifications, preferably related to generative AI and LLM concepts.
  • Deep understanding of higher education operations, including student lifecycle management, registrar and advising functions, curriculum management, financial aid, student success, enrollment, and alumni relations.
  • Experience configuring and demonstrating Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms in sales or implementation contexts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, discovery, solution design, RFP, proposal, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Salesforce certifications including Administrator, Education Cloud Consultant, Data 360 Cert, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with Agentforce for Education, Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), OmniScript, or Industry Common Components is a plus.
  • Open to approximately 40% travel for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
