Base Salary
$150k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced GUI and Trigger Script solutions and intermediate external REST API scripts.
- Analyze customer network topologies and application stacks to develop strategies for acquiring high-value data from the wire.
- Profile industry-specific applications and create technical assets and written collateral for product improvement and marketing efforts.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of high-profile technology problems and advise customers on resolution.
- Develop custom tools using Python and JavaScript-based APIs to extend the ExtraHop platform.
- Create real-time data analyses, rich visualizations, and automated tools for repeatable processes.
- Conduct hands-on learning sessions with key customer personnel.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant experience.
- BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in customer-facing positions with strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of networking layers 2 through 4 and application protocols including HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, and DNS.
- Familiarity with internet-worked applications and related technologies such as databases, caching, and distributed systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Excellent written communication skills and the motivation for independent practice ownership.
