Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software for technology projects and programs.
- Build front-end applications, back-end services, intelligent automation, and AI-driven engineering solutions.
- Design and build REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives, projects, and technical deliverables while serving as an escalation point.
- Evaluate and resolve moderately complex technical challenges and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve technology goals.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of Java experience.
- At least 2 years of Spring Boot experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and building REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- At least 2 years of experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, or CSS3.
- At least 2 years of cloud experience with technologies such as Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, agentic workflows, legacy modernization, or cloud-native transformation is desired.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and quality engineering principles is desired.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude, prompt engineering, and Generative AI technologies is desired.
- Experience with Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies is desired.
