Responsibilities
- Build, test, and ship backend services powering customer-facing products.
- Write clear, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Review other engineers’ code and participate in pairing with senior engineers on complex problems.
- Take ownership of unfamiliar areas, seek feedback, and improve the team’s use of AI tools.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience, with the ability to learn the primarily Python-based stack.
- Solid fundamentals in data structures, basic algorithms, object-oriented programming, testing, and version control.
- Curiosity and willingness to use AI tools daily and rapidly develop proficiency with them.
- Clear communication skills, including asking for help and providing useful code-review feedback.
- Motivation to progress toward a Senior Engineer role.
