$81k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.
- Architect and implement solutions for modernizing the Practice Management platform.
- Build, test, and maintain critical foundational services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams on technical and product direction.
- Participate in code reviews and apply codebase standards and best practices.
- Contribute to sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and work prioritization.
- Research and apply emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve development processes and product quality.
- Use AI tools to support software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0–1 years of professional software development experience; internship experience is desirable.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to solve problems and optimize performance and scalability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Spring, version control, and relational databases.
- Strong interest or hands-on experience in AI-focused development, such as building with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or experimenting with local AI tools and frameworks.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
