Responsibilities
- Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of full-stack features across Prime backend services, frontend applications, and backoffice tooling.
- Own institutional lifecycle journeys including onboarding, account configuration, reporting, and operations workflows.
- Design for failure by documenting failure states, invariants, constraints, tests, alerts, and recovery paths.
- Operate production systems and own features across the full institutional lifecycle.
- Provide design-focused code reviews, mentor engineers, and help raise the team’s technical standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support business needs.
Requirements
- Independently deliver complex, high-ambiguity projects with long-term impact and own production code end to end.
- Have strong production full-stack experience with a modern backend, primarily Python/Django and Go, and a component-based frontend using Vue.
- Have hands-on experience building financial systems such as user balances, ledgers, risk engines, settlement, onboarding/KYC, or payments.
- Demonstrate strong design judgment around failure paths, invariants, constraints, tests, and alerts.
- Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders and provide substantive design-level feedback while mentoring engineers.
