Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-asset automated pricing and risk systems, primarily for FICC derivatives.
- Build high-throughput, low-latency, event-driven messaging and distributed computing solutions.
- Design, implement, test, operationalize, and support technical solutions focused on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with sales, trading, and quantitative teams to implement pricing, trading, and risk solutions.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and regression testing in development pipelines.
- Provide technical expertise, support teammates with implementations, and act as a subject-matter resource for less-experienced colleagues.
- Work on multiple initiatives while supporting compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong academic background.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of strong Core Java experience using JDK 17+.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, multithreaded programming, event-driven messaging, and data-intensive distributed computing.
- Experience developing high-throughput and low-latency systems and Java performance testing.
- Experience implementing automated unit, integration, and regression testing in development pipelines.
- Highly desirable: experience with sales, trading, or quantitative teams; interest rate swap products including FRA, IRS, and XCCY; and Bloomberg APIs including BPIPE, SAPI, and DAPI.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems, provide technical designs, collaborate with technical and non-technical professionals, and work within Agile and SDLC processes.
