Responsibilities
- Translate business and functional requirements into enterprise-aligned Workday integration and Extend designs.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support end-to-end Workday integration and Extend solutions.
- Partner with HR Workday functional leads, enterprise architects, security teams, and third-party vendors.
- Establish integration standards, patterns, documentation, and governance models.
- Support solution design across Workday modules and external systems including SAP and ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot Workday environments and optimize solution performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to innovation and AI-driven initiatives that automate and improve HR processes.
- Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication throughout the solution lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience with Workday implementation and support.
- Hands-on technical development experience designing and developing Workday integration and Extend solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise with Workday App development, EIB, Core and Cloud Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Workday Studio, BIRT, custom reports, and calculated fields.
- Technical experience with REST and SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, WSDL, WQL, Orchestrations, Web Services, and Java.
- Ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient integration and Extend solutions.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, ShapeIn, or Azure Integration Services is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to develop integrations and Extend applications to support project requirements.
- Leadership experience and Workday Extend experience are nice to have.
