Responsibilities

  • Develop tools for in-game event systems, including cameras, replays, and overlays, and support game content development.
  • Develop and manage client local database pipelines, including creation, conversion, validation, and distribution workflows.
  • Develop and support audio content pipelines from production through integration into the game.
  • Provide technical support for 3D direction and cinematic content using EA’s Frostbite engine.
  • Optimize systems and improve development environments to help content developers work more efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with content developers, artists, audio teams, and related development teams to automate repetitive work and remove production bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • At least five years of software development experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in development using C/C++ and STL.
  • Experience developing varied content or content-production systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of and experience with team-based software development processes.
  • Ability to read and write English documentation required for the work.
  • Experience with a commercial or proprietary game engine is preferred.
  • Understanding of or development experience with UI/UX systems is preferred.
  • Expertise in a specific technical area such as frameworks, game logic, audio pipelines, or systems is preferred.
  • Experience with at least one programming language beyond C++ is preferred.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned work, solve problems, and collaborate effectively with various teams is preferred.
