Base Salary
$158k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices and applications using Golang.
- Create features for dynamic network management, including automatic failover and load balancing.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems for SD-WAN services.
- Design and build scalable APIs for network automation and traffic routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
- Debug and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
- Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends in software-defined networks and cloud-native development.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical leadership and code reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Golang.
- Ability to design complex microservice interactions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with client-go and Kubernetes API.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
- Understanding of SD-WAN architecture and smart network principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially at the network layer.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
