Base Salary
$132k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance networking code for multiple desktop platforms using Rust and platform-native APIs.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance development projects and distributed system infrastructure.
- Build reliable software foundations that are testable, well-documented, and maintainable.
- Debug complex network-related problems and improve system functionality.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver customer-impacting features throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Rust.
- Familiarity with lower-level languages such as C and C++.
- Strong knowledge of system and network programming, including firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, QUIC, H/3, and proxies.
- Familiarity with virtual memory, multithreading, system APIs, SLM/LLM models, and networking and system-level debugging.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and experience integrating new technologies into workflows.
- Preferred: understanding of AI security frameworks, LLM threat modeling, and vulnerabilities in AI-driven architectures.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps pipelines, VPN technologies, security protocols and standards, dependency injection, Swift or Python, and MLOps-based validation of AI-driven products.
