Responsibilities
- Provide operational and technical SAP security support for the business and support the SAP security team lead.
- Design, implement, and support SAP security strategies and solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for SAP security design and implementation.
- Coordinate access authorization compliance among data owners, users, and access provisioning workflows.
- Partner with technical teams, business process owners, auditors, and security teams to enforce information security policies and requirements.
- Manage compliance requirements, identify risks, and design controls to address those risks.
- Maintain SharePoint documentation mapping threats to policies, procedures, processes, and controls.
- Design and implement SAP security solutions with the Solutions Architecture team.
- Manage critical access restrictions and audit compliance requirements for tables and reports.
- Support internal and external audit teams.
- Use authorization reporting and troubleshoot transaction codes and tools including SE16, SU22, SU24, SU25, SU53, SU56, ST01, SUIM, and PFCG.
- Coordinate collaboration among business users, support teams, and the Security Center of Excellence project team.
- Provide guidance and analysis for system and Support Pack upgrades and technical improvements.
- Oversee testing and support ticket-related activities.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience implementing SAP Security concepts and strategies.
- A relevant degree such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Education, Business, Information Technology, Technical, Business Administration, Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Expertise in SAP security design, configuration, and administration across ECC, CRM, BI/BW, Fiori, and S/4 database environments.
- Knowledge of SAP GRC 12.X configuration and administration, GRC BC sets, workflow customization, and rulesets.
- Experience configuring security and setting up roles on NetWeaver applications.
- Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow and with change management.
- Strong understanding of SAP Security audit and monitoring requirements and methods.
- Experience designing and implementing user assignments to LDAP groups for synchronization and upload.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and collaboration skills are preferred.
