Responsibilities
- Design and build systems, tools, and workflows for a high-quality internal developer experience.
- Architect, implement, and operate development and deployment foundations from local environments through global deployments.
- Build multi-platform development environments for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Design and maintain CI/CD systems including merge queues, build caching, flaky test quarantine, observability, and safe rollout pipelines.
- Automate developer machine provisioning, laptop setup and reset, interviewing, and onboarding workflows.
- Partner with backend and infrastructure teams to improve local testing, debugging, and parity between development and CI environments.
- Write and review code, set technical direction, and collaborate across engineering to improve developer velocity and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience in developer productivity, internal platform, infrastructure, or build and test systems.
- Regular experience writing and reviewing code, improving build systems, scripting CI pipelines, and refining developer tooling.
- Experience building or maintaining tooling or infrastructure for large-scale, multi-language codebases.
- Strong focus on developer velocity, reliability, maintainability, and sound technical judgment.
