Base Salary
$170k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable platform services and infrastructure supporting Fanatics’ technology ecosystem.
- Build and improve developer tooling, automation, and CI/CD workflows.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Support Kubernetes and containerized production workloads in cloud-native environments.
- Contribute to observability through logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and root-cause analysis.
- Improve performance, scalability, reliability, infrastructure practices, and operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and onboarding support to other engineers.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience in backend systems and distributed architectures.
- Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
- Experience running workloads in Kubernetes and containerized production environments.
- Working knowledge of observability practices including logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Experience participating in incident management and operational support for production systems.
- Proficiency in Go or Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work across teams.
- Preferred experience includes global service scaling, FinOps or cloud cost management, regulated or high-availability environments, Java or Kotlin, GitHub Actions, Kafka, and Cassandra.
