Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead end-to-end cloud project delivery, including timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline releases.
- Translate business and product requirements into technical designs with product owners and developers.
- Monitor cloud-service performance, availability, and security and apply optimizations.
- Drive incident response and root-cause analysis for production issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and cost-management policies.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, status reports, and delivery metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and application delivery management.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer are preferred.
