Base Salary
$266k - $372k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design AI-driven search experiences to enhance user satisfaction.
- Drive the vision for the search relevance team by understanding the product deeply.
- Enhance search retrieval and ranking, and implement new search engine features.
- Build and scale search indexes and develop new pipeline components.
- Deploy ML models and integrate LLMs while ensuring robust monitoring.
- Collaborate with ML, Product, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams.
- Mentor and guide senior and staff engineers.
- Influence technical direction and shape the long-term roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience in large-scale search and recommendation systems.
- Proven ability to define roadmaps and drive improvements in search relevance.
- Strong experience in building and deploying large-scale ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with LLM in production, including evaluation and deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of lexical and semantic retrieval systems.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, particularly in Python and Golang.
- Experience in building production Agentic AI frameworks is a plus.
