Base Salary

$130k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms, systems, and architectures for high-DOF robotic systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Define robotics software requirements with Systems and Applications Engineers for non-standard and R&D projects.
  • Execute proof-of-concept projects and support pilot demonstrations and specialized robotic systems.
  • Test and evaluate planning, learning, perception, and control algorithms and techniques.
  • Maintain deployed government-facility software features and versioning.
  • Rapidly modify, test, and prototype the robotics software stack and new inspection sensors, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with robotics software engineers to transition R&D prototypes into the product codebase.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated industry experience developing, implementing, and testing planning, learning, perception, or control algorithms.
  • Experience developing complex function-based software that interacts with sensor inputs, control loops, and redundancy.
  • Production-level proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Proficiency with ROS2 and other open-source robotics libraries.
  • Preferred: 4+ years deploying complex robotics systems, robotics R&D experience, robot sensor experience including LiDARs and stereo/depth cameras, 6DOF robot arm experience, and experience with advanced robotics algorithms such as VLA.
