Base Salary
$190k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and creatives on AI-assisted agentic workflow strategy.
- Design and own AI-powered frameworks and automation across Studio pipelines and platforms.
- Define telemetry ingestion, processing, and routing architecture for metrics, logs, and traces.
- Prototype and deploy tools for asset tagging, scene preparation, render queue management, shot setup, and versioning.
- Integrate solutions with digital content creation tools and existing artist-facing toolsets.
- Evaluate AI frameworks, foundation models, and automation technologies for creative production.
- Build reusable AI components, automation patterns, and reference implementations.
- Monitor model drift, latency, system security, and operational availability with platform, systems, and security teams.
- Maintain deployed tools, gather artist feedback, and measure and report automation impact.
- Drive adoption through training, documentation, communication, and identification of new automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience building production systems, including 2+ years building AI/ML systems for real-world workflows.
- Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software in AI, data, or integration environments.
- Expertise with containerization, orchestration, Python, TypeScript, React, LangGraph, Spring AI, and MCP.
- Deep understanding of LLM model integration and tuning.
- At least 2 years in a Principal, Staff, or Lead role responsible for AI or pipeline automation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of animation production pipelines, departmental workflows, and digital content creation software is preferred.
- Familiarity with USD, Autodesk Flow Production Tracking, and Jira is preferred.
- Ability to influence senior engineers, create durable technical artifacts, communicate across technical and creative groups, and stay current with AI trends.
- Passion for animation, storytelling, or creative production.
