Responsibilities
- Design scalable architectures and detailed technical specifications for products spanning multiple devices and platforms.
- Lead complex software design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming activities.
- Build and deploy AI agents and tools using agentic AI frameworks, with knowledge of NLP concepts and techniques.
- Develop web-based, mobile, enterprise, and cloud applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.
- Conduct proof-of-concept work, estimates, technical consultations, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Guide senior engineers and mentor team members while collaborating across teams and geographies.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle from design through release and improve development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 12+ years of enterprise product development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, and object-oriented development.
- Proficiency with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS, Backbone, or React.
- Experience building AI agents and tools, with strong experience in agentic AI frameworks and current knowledge of AI practices.
- Experience with NLP, Spring Boot, cloud application development, web platforms, responsive design, and web services.
- Expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, and HANA databases.
- Experience with SOAP, WSDL, XML, XML Schema, and XPath.
- Understanding of application architecture, microservices, middleware/application servers, infrastructure, performance, and security considerations.
- Strong programming, debugging, communication, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- Content management domain experience and OpenText product experience are preferred.
