Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade GitHub Enterprise Server solutions.
- Develop modernization strategies and optimize platform performance.
- Provide architectural governance and best-practice guidance to DevOps and platform engineering teams.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of GitHub Enterprise Server environments.
- Architect high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
- Design integrations with identity, security, monitoring, ticketing, and CI/CD systems.
- Conduct health assessments, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions.
- Provide architectural oversight for Linux-based platform infrastructure.
- Design monitoring, observability, automation, and operational-excellence frameworks.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to maintain platform stability and compliance.
- Mentor engineers, guide best practices, and align platform strategies with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10–15+ years of experience in architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience with GitHub Enterprise Server.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, network architecture, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Italian.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps transformations and hybrid infrastructure.
- Preferred: knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and observability tools.
