Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, quality, and efficiency of Cloud Edge Services.
- Develop tools and infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and manage production and non-production services.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve development efficiency, infrastructure management, and incident response.
- Deliver solutions optimized for quality, usability, reusability, and scalability.
- Maintain documentation covering testing, design, usage, maintenance, configuration, and deployment.
- Participate in an agile framework and a rotating week-long on-call schedule.
Requirements
- Significant experience with Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, and Content Delivery Networks or Service Mesh technologies.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency with Golang and/or Python, with recent experience preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- At least 2 years of experience with Terraform.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teammates and willingness to learn.
- Istio Service Mesh, CDN, AWS CloudFront, Kubernetes Ingress Controller or API Gateway, and Kubernetes Operators experience are preferred.
