Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform across segregated environments and regions.
- Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and migrate manually configured resources into managed infrastructure.
- Contribute to secure, repeatable, observable CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps.
- Assess infrastructure security, remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and support SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and related compliance requirements.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot distributed systems, respond to incidents, restore service, and implement durable corrective actions.
- Build operational automations and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual work and accelerate recovery.
- Maintain Datadog dashboards, monitors, SLOs, logs, traces, and other observability coverage.
- Monitor cloud spend, investigate cost anomalies, right-size resources, and promote cost-aware architecture.
- Partner with software teams on cloud onboarding, infrastructure implementation, deployment patterns, architecture, documentation, runbooks, and operational practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role.
- Deep practical experience with Azure, particularly App Services, Container Apps, Front Door, SQL databases, Cosmos, Service Bus, and Key Vaults.
- Experience with a CI/CD platform, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
- Experience implementing cloud governance controls based on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Proven production support experience with strong distributed-systems troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation skills.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, including converting recurring operational problems into reliable automated solutions.
- Experience in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment is preferred.
- Azure certifications are appreciated.
