Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, manage, support, and maintain security technologies and platforms.
- Support CrowdStrike, Netskope, Semperis, and other security technologies.
- Implement new security controls and capabilities and contribute to enterprise security projects and proof-of-concept activities.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support and major incident management calls.
- Improve security platform processes and transition completed implementations into operational support.
- Develop RACI documentation and educate business-as-usual support teams.
- Maintain cybersecurity playbooks, policies, and knowledge-base articles for Incident Management and CSIRT processes.
Requirements
- A university degree or college diploma in information technology or a related discipline, equivalent work experience, and/or five years of information technology experience.
- At least three years of experience in the information security industry.
- Professional IT security designation preferred, such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, GIAC, AWS, or CompTIA.
- Experience with endpoint security solutions such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, and Semperis.
- Experience designing secure networks and endpoint systems.
- Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Experience in system administration supporting multiple platforms and applications.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to obtain Canadian Reliability Security Clearance, including law enforcement inquiry, credit check, and required travel and residence history.
