Responsibilities
- Design and build Airbus solutions on Foundry covering data engineering, data integration, data analysis, visualization, and application development.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Airbus business functions to understand processes, capture requirements, and solve business problems using organizational data.
- Participate in the full delivery lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and application support.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application issues, handle incidents and requests, and provide ongoing support for developed tools.
- Deliver projects on time and with high quality while developing innovative, cost-effective solutions and supporting customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Postgraduate or graduate qualification in Information Technology or an equivalent background.
- 1–5 years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of software development, design concepts, and principles, with experience building and maintaining applications at scale through end-to-end implementation.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, including complete-stack development with PySpark backends and JavaScript or TypeScript frontends.
- Knowledge and experience with Skywise fundamentals and tools, including code repositories, data lineage, Pipeline Builder, access management, Slate, Workshop, and Ontology Manager.
- Strong knowledge of REST and big data architecture.
- Knowledge of Artifactory, GitHub, VersionOne, Jira, or Confluence.
- Experience with test-driven development and awareness of SAFe, Agile Scrum, or Kanban projects.
- AWS experience, Palantir Foundry solution building and deployment, and generative AI prompt engineering are preferred or advantageous.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, willingness to learn and share, outcome orientation, and interest in innovative ways of working.
