Responsibilities

  • Define system architecture, coding standards, and the AWS cloud hosting framework.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient, high-performance, and secure software code.
  • Lead security-first DevSecOps initiatives and database integrations.
  • Conduct code reviews, optimize database queries, and ensure compliance with DHS and CBP security directives.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and designers to convert user requirements into technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership or software architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Deep familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js and AWS cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.
