Base Salary
$176k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance React applications using WebSockets, SSE, and GraphQL subscriptions.
- Contribute to courier mobile applications built with React Native.
- Lead technical design and own complex projects from architecture through production rollout.
- Improve frontend reliability, latency, and scalability in real-time, high-throughput systems.
- Lead debugging, incident response, and frontend performance investigations.
- Mentor and coach engineers while improving frontend engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with deep frontend expertise.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and modern web application development.
- Understanding of client networking, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, caching, and client-side state management.
- Experience integrating GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture, and establish best practices.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting team growth.
- Preferred qualifications include delivery, logistics, or real-time systems experience; full-stack experience and backend tradeoff knowledge; developer productivity improvements; and familiarity with frontend performance, security, and usability practices.
