Base Salary

$62k - $141k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and traceability for software releases.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing on a customized Pega platform.
  • Validate requirements and acceptance criteria across applications, interfaces, data, roles, and workflows.
  • Record, triage, retest, and close defects with clear supporting evidence.
  • Report test progress, risks, coverage, and release readiness objectively.
  • Collaborate with Pega developers, analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to support secure, accessible, testable, and supportable products.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
  • Experience creating test cases and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with defect tracking, test evidence, requirements traceability, and Agile delivery.
  • Experience validating requirements and acceptance criteria across applications, interfaces, data, roles, and workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Public Trust determination and eligibility to undergo a U.S. government investigation.
  • Preferred experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scripts, or test traceability for software releases.
  • Preferred experience with system testing, user acceptance testing, and reporting test coverage and release readiness.
  • Preferred experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, federal health IT, or regulated healthcare programs.
  • Preferred experience with Pega, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Git, Microsoft 365, or similar collaborative delivery tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
