Responsibilities
- Assess prospects’ and customers’ applications for fit with Temporal’s platform.
- Explain Temporal’s platform and cloud-service benefits, limitations, and architectural advantages.
- Position Temporal against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance.
- Advise customer engineering teams and technical decision-makers on application and platform architecture.
- Partner with Account Executives on account plans, opportunity scoping, sizing, technical fit, and challenges.
- Own and nurture technical relationships with key customer decision-makers.
Requirements
- Reside in Bangalore, India.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Have a deep understanding of distributed-system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Be proficient in one or more of Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP for application prototyping and technical guidance.
- Understand production concerns including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with common application-development and production services.
- Be able to provide strategic technical advice to Sales Account Executives.
- Prior FinTech or financial-services experience is preferred.
- Be able to learn new technical topics independently and partner effectively with customer engineers.
