Responsibilities
- Own and maintain build systems, CI pipelines, testing infrastructure, and internal developer tooling.
- Identify recurring sources of engineering friction and design and implement solutions to improve developer productivity.
- Manage vulnerabilities and dependencies.
- Review code and contribute to code quality and maintainability.
- Maintain reliable, ergonomic, well-documented, and easy-to-adopt internal platform solutions.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Developer Experience Engineer.
- Be proficient in at least two of build systems, continuous integration, testing, observability, dependency and vulnerability management, release workflows, or internal tooling.
- Be comfortable with Python tooling and packaging, including dependency management and the broader Python developer ecosystem.
- Have strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent debugging instincts, broad engineering judgment, curiosity, and an interest in improving developer productivity.
- Preferred: experience with tooling, packaging, and dependency management in JavaScript, Rust, Go, or other language ecosystems.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, including deploying services and debugging running workloads.
