Base Salary
$170k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build Hark’s product surfaces, interfaces, conversations, and agentic user experiences across voice, text, and vision.
- Work with designers to ship fast, reliable, and useful interactions.
- Own features from prototyping through production deployment and iteration based on real usage.
- Build frontend systems for agent workflows involving tool use, memory retrieval, and multi-step reasoning.
- Instrument and evaluate shipped experiences, track quality, gather user signal, and improve the product.
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering fundamentals and experience building polished, responsive interfaces.
- Experience shipping consumer products used and relied upon by real people.
- Curiosity about AI and agents, including experience using LLM-powered products and understanding their limitations.
- Strong product sensibility and attention to user experience details.
- Comfort with ambiguity, prototyping, feedback, and rapid iteration.
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate closely with designers and engineers.
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience at a fast-growing AI or consumer product company is a strong plus.
- Bonus experience includes voice or multimodal interfaces, real-time streaming UI, and frontend systems for agentic products.
Benefits

- US base salary range of $170,000-$400,000 annually.
