Responsibilities
- Design and implement a cloud-native platform architecture on GCP.
- Build scalable guardrails for multi-team and multi-environment cloud setups with compliance requirements.
- Create reusable infrastructure and self-service provisioning patterns.
- Define cloud governance, including IAM strategies, organizational policies, and policy-as-code.
- Author technical design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership forums.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
- Production Kubernetes experience spanning networking, security, tenancy, and lifecycle management.
- Terraform experience at the module-authoring level.
- Solid networking fundamentals including VPC design, CIDR planning, DNS, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience working in compliance-driven environments such as SOC2 or PCI-DSS.
- Experience with GitOps methodology and tooling and with observability stacks covering metrics, structured logging, and tracing.
- Clear technical communication skills, including writing and defending design documents.
