Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain platform components in Java across the full development lifecycle.
- Implement automated testing practices integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with business analysts, business stakeholders, production support, and global engineering teams.
- Participate in production support and incident calls, owning issues through resolution.
- Work with database, messaging and queueing, cloud, and observability technologies.
- Identify and escalate technical and delivery risks proactively.
- Support continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and delivery approaches.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software development experience in Java within an agile delivery environment.
- Strong understanding of automated testing, including test-driven development and pipeline-integrated test automation.
- Practical exposure to database and messaging or queueing technologies.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and observability or monitoring tooling.
- Comfort with production support activities and incident resolution.
- Ability to contribute both individually and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
