Responsibilities
- Develop NLP and machine learning models for information search, recommendation, data extraction, and analysis of legal documents.
- Maintain and monitor machine learning models in production.
- Design conversational agents that support lawyers with legal work and drafting tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and product designers to identify product opportunities.
- Contribute to engineering strategy, internal knowledge sharing, best practices, and Machine Learning chapter initiatives.
- Participate in technical assessments and interviews for recruiting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of classical and deep learning for data extraction and recommendation.
- Some first-hand experience with large language models is preferred or desirable.
- Solid understanding of MLOps challenges and motivation to develop further in this area.
- Strong Python development skills with a focus on algorithm design.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and applying scientific advances in production.
- Proficiency in French for working with French legal data.
- Previous professional experience in law is not required, but willingness to learn legal-document expertise is important.
