Responsibilities
- Implement complex features in dependency and container scanning to improve scan coverage and accuracy.
- Solve technical problems in SCA and establish reusable patterns for efficiency.
- Guide architectural decisions in collaboration with engineering and product managers.
- Contribute code and provide technical mentorship to enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with security teams to align SCA work with broader security efforts.
- Identify and resolve technical debt to improve team velocity and code health.
- Translate product needs into technical solutions based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Software Composition Analysis and security features.
- Deep expertise in dependency and container scanning capabilities.
- Ability to design solutions balancing complexity, performance, and maintainability.
- Proficiency in backend technologies, particularly Go and/or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience evaluating technical tradeoffs in SCA and security tooling.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to engineers and stakeholders.
